The Magician

The Magician reminds us that “of this which I believe in, I can also manifest.” He reminds us that we have been given gifts of the heart, mind, spirit and of tangible earth. That all the resources I have in my life, No matter how simple or mundane, can be utilized in order to become the best version of myself.

He possesses complete inner confidence. He is power before the effort of its force has been brought to fruition. His existence is the raw inspiration behind all the aces in the Minor Arcana.

The Magician says that in “in my command of these things, I will,” and he say that “I can manifest the gifts of this world in my heart, in my mind, in the world, and to the people of my community.”

At once he both asks and sets into motion the idea of “How can I best utilize the gifts I have been given in this life?” As if by asking he already knows the answer.

“What I believe I can do, I will.”

As the first card in the Major Arcana he is the ultimate initiator and wielder of destiny.
